2015 Winter Update

It’s a slow time of year but we’re still working hard! Our brand new tomato, cucumber and pepper plants arrive mid-February so we are in the midst of preparing our main greenhouse for planting.

Sprouts never quit! We always have sunflower, pea, buckwheat, broccoli, and daikon radish sprouts growing, sprouted mung beans and lentils, and plenty of wheatgrass.

Greens are growing slowly but we are still sending them to markets and keeping them available in our storefront as much as possible. We currently have mixed salad greens, arugula, spinach, and baby kale (availability of all greens is weather-dependant.)

Stop by the farm and visit our 24 hour storefront for greens, sprouts, carrots, squash, homemade pesto, tomato sauce, habanero jelly, and quince jam, and frozen wheatgrass shots and strawberries. Call or email us to place orders for trays of sprouts and wheatgrass, or visit us at one of our year-round markets! You can still find us every Wednesday and Saturday at the Hudson Market, and every Saturday at the Moss Street Market.
